Do you want me to list concerns ?

The Registrant is hidden on the website WHOIS behind a Domain Privacy Service.

The WHOIS states the website was created on 28th August 2012 and yet the website claims "we were nominated for a Webby Award in 2008 for the "Best Banking Website". Companies/corporation are normally very cautious about calling themselves/being called a bank as such a claim requires certain specific regulatory requirements to be fulfilled.

The contact address on the website

.... throws up some familiar website designs using the same contact address

http://imprentausa.com/beta/index.php/contacto

... with a map of Bangladesh  but no matter, most of the website is written in Latin. I presume that the address is a stock address used by a website builder.

The personal loan rate shown on the website as being "as low as 2.65%" is phenomenal even for a fully secured loan to a 'blue chip company' and isn't a viable rate to offer to anyone.

Having claimed to have received an award for having a 'bank' website, they refer to themselves as an 'Inc' and then state this
We are an online financial community that brings together creditworthy borrowers and savvy investors .......
This tends to hint that perhaps they're operating as a broker rather than a lender in spite of them claiming
At 08/23/2012 on 05:30 AM:

Loans funded to date: $828,838,550
Loans funded last month: $60,067,825
Interest paid to investors since inception: $71,815,346
That level of lending puts it on a par with one of the UK's top bank lenders, and I'd have thought any government would be nervous to have any financial institution operating outside the banking system lending on that level.

An interesting clause in the 'Privacy Policy'
In certain instances we may ask for your Social Insurance Number (SIN). We are required by law to collect your SIN in cases where we facilitate the opening of a bank account for you that will earn interest income.
Why would anyone open a bank account through a third party ? I would strongly recommend that no one ever does this and I wouldn't recommend making use of their services.

It's very risky trying to deal with entities that you only know from a website. The greatest risk is that you give out very personal financial information to people you know nothing or very little about, and they may turn out only to be brokers who take an up front fee without ever providing a loan. If you give them enough information they may take the fee, and turn it in to an ongoing payment. Never pay an upfront fee and a regular broker will be happy to receive their arrangement fee as part of the repayment schedule. That ensures that you actually get the loan.

The main problem is that you've given out very detailed information that an unscrupulous person can misuse in many ways. If you're in need of a loan in tough times, getting hooked up with the wrong people could make your situation much worse.
