You can only use original documents and online forms via the Embassy of the country you wish to get to. There will be proper links to make secure payments and will not involve Western Union which Governments can not use anyway. As far as the letter you post goes I note it contains African English so someone in West Africa has contacted you to relieve you of your money. There is no job and no visa . Do not contact the scammer and tell him nothing and vanish. Block his email address so you won't have to bother. Watch out for more scams and they will always at some stage ask for Western Union or a MoneyGram transfer before you actuall get anywhere. If so vanish again. Hope this is what you wanted to hear.

With that said, Began Steele has already answered you above, so I am not sure why your latest post. It is 100% scam. The person writing you is African, not American. There is no job, only a scammer trying to steal your money for a job that doesn't exist. The scammer is also completely ignoring how the au pair hiring process works in the United States.

Began has asked you to post the email address the scammer is using, because they will be offering their fake job to others, and often potential victims will search for the email address being used.

[email protected]? is not a company it is a free email address like hotmail etc.They just use it to trap victims. They could easily choose [email protected] or a more appropriate [email protected], except they woudn't use that last one because it would be true and scammers never tell the truth. Gmail is used as it hides the IP number which tells you where the scamme really is.
So if you see Western Union mentioned in any email sent to you, it is a scammer after money and so send nothing.

are changing slightly from this summer season as i will be working
full time and , including some nights and will need somebody at home
for son on average two evenings a week and sometimes at weekends.

I need someone to look after my son after school periods and when I am

helping him do his homework, making dinner if I am not home and
supervising him getting ready for bed.

I don't know where you live rebellefleur13 but if you don't live in the EU (Europe) then I regret that you cannot work in the UK as an au pair.

This is a notice from the Philippine Embassy in London that will apply to all non-EU citizens.

Beware of emailed job offers for childcare and other similar positions in the UK. These are all frauds.

• Since November 2008, no visas are granted for household workers from outside Europe. Work visas are only granted for highly-skilled positions, most of which require university degrees.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK requires you to pay them any money. All fees would be paid by the employer.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK uses a free email address from Yahoo, Gmail, or similar services.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK uses a telephone number that begins with +4470 (070). These are non-geographic numbers available to anyone in the world.

• No legitimate business requests payment via Western Union.

If the person knows that you live outside Europe, then he is a scammer. The mail is also not written in a style that would not be expected from someone educated as a UK doctor. He also uses some words and spellings that are not used in the UK.

I'm suspicious of mail number two as well but it's better written than the first one. The problem is that these free sites are full of scammers and some of them are more experienced than others. I don't like mail number two because when it comes to caring for a child a photo of you, and also your family is a silly request when your experience and skills are much more important, and bearing in mind they claim to be doctors, you would expect them to be much more professional and interested in your abilities.

The most sensible thing for you to do would be to join an agency in your own country that you know supplies au pairs abroad. You are in a better position to find out how respectable and trustworthy they are and check up on their success. It may cost you money to join and take some courses in child care, but you can then allow them to find you real offers rather than swim in a sea full of sharks.

I doubt that a professional family in the UK will ever put their child in the care of a stranger without qualifications, and it's even less likely that a doctor would do that.

What ever you choose to do, keep in mind that as an EU citizen you do not need a visa or work permit to work in the UK. If any of these people tell you that you need to pay them for these documents then you know that they are scammers.

I am grateful for your positive response. Allow me to explain more about your assign duty and also about us.
At first, we reside in 121 South Ave, Staten Island, NY 10303. A nice, quite and calm city. Where we live is just about 25 mins drive from the big city of New York. I am blessed with two lovely kids namely Ashley (she is 9 years old) and James (he his 7 years old)

What you are assign to do or I say your task as a nanny are as follows.
You'll be working 5 to 6 hours a day. You are required to prepare the kids for school and take them to and from school. (that is, take them to school and later go and pick them from school in the afternoon). Care for and stimulate the children both mentally & physically, to ensure their intellectual, physical and social development. Look after their physical well being, encouraging proper use of everything - wash and bath them, help them on how to dress and undress. You are required to spend time with the child, running errands, house cleaning and light cooking is a possibility, but not really a requirement. We prefer someone who will reinforce our desire to teach our children responsibilities and do not expect to undertake the children assigned tasks but instead to find ways to encourage them to complete tasks (I mean not to spoil the kids by doing everything for them).
On weekends (Saturdays) you'll take them out to new places such as beach and other recreational places (You are fully free on Sunday).

When we want you to start and how long.
We did not have a specific date or reference to when you can start. You can start anytime. We would like to have you for not less than two months. It will be nice if you want to stay longer, even if you want to stay for more than a year. Your happiness with us during your stay is more important.

What we plan to offer.
We will be giving you $400 per week (I hope that is enough since we will cater for your feeding. I mean you don't need to buy food from outside). You and the kids will be going for shopping once in 5weeks. We have internet facilities in the house for your use, a private room with your own bathroom. A private car for you in taking the children to and from school provided you know how to drive or willing to learn driving. Getting you a driver's license will not be a problem.

Our interest as a family.
Our interests include the zoo, doing yoga, watching soccer, water skiing, snow skiing, a walk in the park, play dates with friends, arts, literature, traveling, shopping, cinema and taking good care of our children.
