I just received another scam attempt from my Craigslist posting from [email protected]. Also received another one from a new address: [email protected]. Same scam, different name.

All Scammers responding to a craigslist ad.

"Hello, i appreciate your quick response on this sales i am very much satisfied with the condition and i want you to know that my term of payment is by certified check drawn from us bank and i have my own shipper that will come for the pick up of the item upon your confirmation of receiving and cash the check, and again to let you know that you don't need another buyer for the item so do withdraw the advert from CL and get back to me with the following information to have the check mail out to asap.
1.....full name to write on the check
2.....full physical address to mail the check to please not P.O BOX
3.....Home & Cell Phone to contact you
kindly get back to me asap, Regards"

It helps if there is more of the information to show up in searches and we don't allow only addresses posted here without the scam context. If you look back in the thread you'll see that support team members are researching and adding information when only names/addresses are given. Thanks!!

Here is the scammer that I recently came across while trying to rent a flat. I was so glad that I came across this site before it got any further!

I resided in the apartment with my only daughter Melissa.before i relocated to West Africa Nigeria due to my new post as the leading Evangelist here with MISSIONARY CHURCH.

The apartment is available for £250 per month including the utilities, which i think is not too much, i just need someone with an open heart,love and clean to occupy the home and put all my worries off concerning the maintainnance of the home. Since i am not residing there again.

Also the keys to the home are right here with me, and the document. Which i can send to you after all necessary agreement has be accomplished. Also i will like you to know that the rent charges is not really the issue , but your absolute maintenance of the home, because that is the only valuable property. So i wouldn't want an violation of my property if finally rented by you. I will like you to treat the home as your own okay.here is the application form
