She sent a pic and asked if I liked it. I never asked nor sent anything to her.
It seemed she was trying to reel me in to send her a picture, shortly after that is when I was contacted and then asked for money.

North Carolina, South Carolina, Michigan, California and etc states have been used in this scam.

The only thing we can do is post the details to help others and report it.

My self and T5 are very familiar with these scams.

VOIP is an acronym for Voice Over Internet Protocol.

These numbers can call/receive/text anywhere in the world with internet access. Most often you can pick the area code.

Pinger is popular with scammers.

First I want to state that I shouldn't have done this in the first place. However I met a "girl" on chatroulette and to make a long story short I told her I was horny and she said she was too so we continued and I showed her my penis… oh also we tried to meet up on Skype and I was being gullible I gave her my phone number and email address…
so the bottom line is I get a message on my phone saying I was recorded and that they are going to send the video to my friends and girlfriend… So I paid them through wester union.
I feel sick and like shit and basically like scum but are there any other moves I can make? I paid the person Ashraf Bahoussi $300 in Morocco and he claimed he deleted the copy. I could use some help and guidance here because I f*cked up big time.

I did pay the person, however I also made a new Facebook account, new email, got rid of Skype and have prayed nothing else will pop up.

The guy is from morocco, his name is Ashraf Bahoussi, he was under the name of Nicole. The phone number used to contact me was 1(850) 724-7461

Disable your Facebook and any other profiles . Block their number . Don't answer calls from strange numbers and file a report on the IC3 website . This is an Extortion Scam .

They tried to scam me today. Met this "girl" on POF and she said she had recently moved to the area(ATX) from Atlanta. She ended up beign 16.long story short we txted back and foward. She randomly sends an explicit txt. Which my dumb self reply to. Hours later i get a call from Mr Brown the father of this "girl" basically asking for money to cover for flight to treatment center, treatment and cell phone cancelation.The "girls" name was Judy and i dont remember her pof user name.this was the number she gave me (678) 753-2507 the same number that the father called me from.he wanted me to send the money thru western union to his wifes name. If anyone explains me how to post a picture i can show yall what the "girl" looked like.

This same thing has happened to me but it happened just a day ago. I met her on POF, her name is Crystal from South Carolina. She sent me a picture of her in bra and panties then sent me a picture of her topless. I did speak to my local law enforcement about this because honestly I didn't know what else to do because she said she is above age and yes I did send a pic back of my downstairs. I'm scared because her "Father" said he's gonna take me to court about it and I'll have to pay for all the fines plus pay for her broken laptop. He was gonna settle for $800 dallors which I didn't send and my local law enforcement said not to. I told the guy I'm not gonna pay and he said he's taken me to court and I'll go to jail. I'm scared about all this and idk what to do about this situation.
