You are in good hands with Ralph, so I will only reiterate for everyone also reading this thread:

I have no doubt that all of the people you are dealing with in this mess are scammers, very possibly the same scammer using different identities.

Even if you weren't dealing with Nigerian scammers (and you are), you should always assume that WEBCAM IS NOT SAFE. Essentially, you should NEVER DO OR SAY ANYTHING ON WEBCAM--WITH ANYONE--EVEN IF YOU KNOW AND TRUST THEM--THAT YOU CANNOT RISK BEING MADE PUBLIC. The same applies to photos. NEVER SEND PHOTOS THAT YOU DON"T WANT THE WORLD TO SEE.

There have been many cases when friends, family members, ex-boyfriends, girlfriends, or spouses have shared photos, videos, or recorded webcam with the world! Some have not intended to do so (i.e. they shared with someone who passed it on without permission, or stored it somewhere unsafe), while others have done so deliberately out of anger, jealousy, or for revenge. In the end, the result is the same. If you don't believe this, just google "webcam blackmail" and see how many results you get (don't click on the results pages, many of them are unsafe).

like woow..i didnt know that they have web cam hack...that's new to me
  by Ralph

Sorry Motive, Dotti is the other moderator who posted just above my previous post, if you like it feel free, I am sure she will not mind ;)

It is not so much hacking a webcam, I dont want to explain too much because there is no use in teaching any visiting scammers.

What I can say is that it is possible to get some footage and play it as if it was yourself on your webcam.

Asking them to do something specific such as showing a certain number of fingers or showing todays local newspaper will weed out these however some scammers will appear on webcam so it is still no foolproof way to know that it is not a scammer on the other end of the camera

he confess to me that all he wants to me was my money. :bondage:

he looked down as he said it to me... then i wake up...

Strange, I had a dream about this myself last night.

The scammer for some reason rang me on your phone to threaten you, in my dream I told him what I thought of him and he left you alone, I do hope I wasn't actually saying what I said in my dream

While I think of it, I noticed he does know of another email adress of yours, if he does contact you there please be sure to completely ignore anything he sends you.

Rainbow,

I'm glad that things have improved for you. It sounds like you have been able to learn from your experience and move on with your life, and your scammer has probably realized that he is not going to get anything else from you so he has moved on himself. You are also giving hope to others who are dealing with similar situations--at least it can help them to believe that it will get better!

Feel free to stop by if you have any questions, and happy holidays!!
