Hello Jillian. It won't be a homegrown scammer. It uses a pre-recorded message and it is supposed to fool people. It may never be answered and the objective is to convince the victim that it is the scammers voice and therefore they are real.It is probably in Africa as usual

The name is definitely more consistent with an American or a European than an African.

I have noticed, though, that there is no posted evidence that this person is actually attempting to steal money. That name is consistent with a baiter or even with a troll or a game-player. There are certainly plenty of those here in the US, but they are not what we deal with here.

Please post evidence that this person is actually using this identity for purposes of stealing money.

Perhaps you could post some emails you received (with mail headers that are not from gmail if possible), please Jillian. It is always a help because texts crop up all the time and scammers reuse them. It would help also if some of these included matters concerning money or goods to be sent to you.
