As Dora has said, education is the best way to combat the evil of scamming. The more people know about the signs of scam activity, the easier it is for them to ignore and delete any scam attempts that find their way into their inboxes.

We would love to see the day when this forum is no longer necessary. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like that day will come in the near future.

It is no easy feat to admit to being duped by scammers but from experience we know that these criminals can be incredibly manipulative and sly in their methods. If you would like to share you story here we recommend that you keep your identity hidden by xxx'ing out your details.
