I think I also found a fake pet shipping company. The company's main headquarters is out of Cameroon, they also have a corporate office in Houston, TX. I purchased a service/companion puppy, out of Charlotte, NC. The puppy was delivered ton a substation affiliated with Universal Pet Delivery. I received a message on the same day she arrived at the shipper stating she needed a special crate and this was a refundable deposit it was only to transport her. The fee was paid on her second day there. Her tracking record shows we paid it on 7/30/2015 at 11:00 p.m. At ,11:45 p.m. her records show she is on board to transit port. At 5:00 a.m. it shows her being in Philadelphia,PA. At 7:45 a.m on 8/1/15 her records show and we got a message stating we needed to pay $1500 for insurance. Which again was refundable. I didn't pay it instead I contacted there corporate office in TX. They agreed to step in and get her delivered to me in Massachusetts. In the mean time I contacted VPI an insurance company that Universal Pet Delivery suggested we check out regarding the shipping insurance. They told me I was being scammed for more money. They suggested I contact the airlines this shipper stated they used. I did it was not a requirement or law, as the shipper stated. I informed them of my findings I was then threatened with her being sent to quarantine in Hawaii. I did tell them I had spoken to a lawyer. More nasty messages, then the kicker, I got a message stating she was on a plane back to NC. I asked them several times how could they ship her twice without insurance. No reply except that I now would be dealing with the original shipper their affiliate I originally was dealing with. This is who originally started all the problems. Universal"s Corporate stepped in supposedly to get her to me and my refundable deposit back. Well Trish my 12 week old Teacup Yorkshire Terrier has vanished. All the tracking information has vanished off their website. The only response I have gotten from them is that they refuse to work with me is because I didn't want to pay them an additional $1500, in unnecessary fees. No delivery, no puppy. There have been criminal charges filed against Universal Pet Delivery in 3 states. Fraud against a disabled/handicapped person. Shipping stolen property over state lines just for starters. Beware don't use universal pet delivery service, or any of their affiliates, KennyPals, Royals Pets and Reliable Pets Delivery. I don't think I will ever get my baby. Just beware of these shipping company's, don't let what happened to me happen to you.
