This fraudster is still at it! We posted a car on Auto Trader yesterday and received an e-mail enquiry from [email protected].
"Thanks for the prompt response.I'm Okay with the condition of the car as i have already go through it on the ad but just trying to make little inquiry from you ready to buy it now for my Daughter, I'm at sea at the moment as I'm a Navy Officer, and due to the nature of my Job.....phone calls making and visiting of website
are restricted but i squeezed out time to check this advert and send you a Text regarding it. I really want it to be a surprise for my Daughter i won't let her know anything about it until it gets delivered to her, i am sure she will be more than happy with it. I insisted on PayPal because i don't have access to my bank account online as i don't have internet banking, but i can pay from my PayPal account, as i have my bank a/c attached to it,Get back to me with your PayPal email and the price so i can proceed with the payment quickly, and sorry if you don't have an Account, you sign-up for a PayPal personal account www.paypal.com it is very fast and easy to set up. And there is a shipping company pick up agent that will come for the pick up after the payment has been sorted out. Thanks"

You have been warned!

Luckily the scammer is equally as predictable as he is stupid. autotrader isn't the only ad site he infests. He should find a new game to play.

He must be on piece work.

I could probably predict what adverts are going to appear next.

I may have to buy one of these cars out of sheer pity, but with a price of £0 each I could buy five.

The maggot's back but only two so far.

They aren't even bothering to make the e-mail address look as if it's impersonating the dealer. Can't he get anything right ?

Now the maggot is back to placing nil values on his scam adverts. If he must be a maggot then he should at least attempt to be a half competent one.

I thought the maggot was being a little quiet and, as I had nothing better to do, I went searching.

The old nil value and live.co.uk account is a bit of a giveaway, though not as much as having advertised it previously under two other dealers' identities.

I like the piccies too - "!!!PRIVATE SALE!!!" the hint of desperation that haunts all greedy scammers.

Please all be aware that DAVID WRIGHT is now using a new name; BOLLEY SMITH. After having already tried his scam of 'surprise for a friend' under the name David Wright he then again today tried to pull the same scam under a different name using the exact same email. He was not happy when I asked him if he knew David Wright.

Really fed up of the scammers now, all I want to do is sell my car.

Welcome to Scamwarners Rhyso_1927,

Please post the email address the scammer used. Often scammers share the same scripts that you received, yet your scammer may be a different person with a different email address.
