The scammer got a VoIP and picked an area code for Texas. A US Marshal would not use this.

It is 100% a scam. Just ignore him he will soon try to find a new victim to scam.

Like already stated. The scammer is unfamiliar how law enforcement works.

This scam has nothing to do with the real law enforcement. The scammer or his gang is playing all roles.

For legal advice on entrapment seek the advice of an Attorney.

The way I see it you got 2 directions to go

1. Do nothing and be a victim . Send your money to some scammer over in Africa with a pinger VoIP phone number .


2 Take action to protect yourself and follow the advice already given in the thread.

I really don't think there's any more this site or the volunteers here that staff the site 24x7 can do for you .

I stopped replying mid day yesterday and he didn't say anything until the morning today. He said i have until 4 to tell him why his daughter would try to kill herself.

This crap just happened to me yesterday, on POF. Talking to this girl who from her profile, said we was 22, we get to messaging over my phone. Then she sends me a nude pic the asks for one from me. So being a retard I send one. We keep messaging, then I go to bed. Next morning I get a call from some guy tell me I was sexting with his "16 year old daughter". Says he's trying to talk his wife down from going to the cops. And if I pay like 1000 dollars for her new phone and a bus ticket to Utah so she can get therapy.. He tells me to go to a Wal-Mart or CVS and send a money gram. The number I got was from California, 7072031272. They were blowing up my phone all day.

Please post a link to the POF profile so we can look at it . This is a scam . You need to follow advice given previously in the thread and report this on the IC3 website.

The POF profile already been deleted. Already filed a report. With both local law enforcement and ic3. As well as contacted a lawyer

Yeah I figured that out lol, especially when I go another random call from some supposed special investigator....... Was the same damn guy. Must have gotten the stupidest scammer ever. Accidentally deleted the new number will post it if they try calling back

Everything here is sounding way to familiar. I was just in the same situation but have a different number, which is 423-617-2732 and the "fake" daughters number was 240-815-2073. I also got 2 names that this "fake father" wanted me to send money to, which were Shannon Hammonds and Lashonda Tippins from Chester, Virginia.
