I was on the app Grindr which shows guys in your area. (i am fairly certain the locations can be spoofed). I spoke to a guy on there who was presumably 18 (on 18+ hookup app, you must affirm to be 18). I don't remember if he had a picture up or a blank profile. anyway i contacted him with a picture of me and he said hello. I asked him for a picture and he sent one. I don't believe he sent a nude but i really can't remember. I remember a pic of a blonde haired guy who looked 18 standing in front of a mirror with his shirt off. i sent him a few dirty pics. i also asked if he wanted to hook up maybe (wasnt really planning on it tbh). i gave him my number. he texted me immediately and asked me about penis size. also asked when i wanted to hookup . i was very brief and just said whenever. the next day i said "hey" and no response. so i never talked to him again. about 5 days later maybe i got a text in the morning from a mother who said she was upset blah blah blah. we talked back and forth for a bit and i didnt apologize but she basically said an apology is not enough and i have to cover the cost for a damaged phone that the guy supposedly broke to cover it up in the amount of $290. i never asked about how they wanted me to pay but i wish i did to verify it to be a scam. they said fine you will be contacted by the police. i messaged them later that night with no response. in fact i called both numbers and had my friend text and call both numbers and guess what ? no response. calling the numbers goes straight to voicemail saying the caller is unavailable. numbers are 267-669-0473 and 267-630-5891. both seemed to be voip numbers but i was hoping you could check into this and read this and give me some insight. the guy said he was in jenkintown which is where the numbers are from so that could make sense. both used weird wording. for example the guy said his penis was between 6 4 and 6 6 . idk what that means. the mom said "i asked it" when refering to the pics on his phone. wording just seemed a bit odd but other than that it was pretty good. i just need to know if its a scam , ive been rather upset about this. the mother texted me on the 13th. heard nothing since

Hi BackSmith, it's a definite scam - any dating/hookup app will have terms and conditions that the users must be over 18,

Both of the numbers are VoIP numbers and the reasons that the scammer won't answer the calls is that their accents and voices will soon give away the fact that they're not a mother and kid.

Just block all the numbers and ignore any further contact from anyone regarding this

Hello all. I meet a laid online and she gave me her number. We txt 1 nite and she asked 4 pics and she sent me pic. After that nite i have not heard from here. 2 days later i get a txt and this is what it said: You shared a very intimate conservation with my 15 year old daughter now i advise you to call me now or im turning it in to the police.

The guy said his wife wont me arrested but he is trying to work it out with me and if his wife finds out he will sleep on tha couch. He wont me to lay1500 for some damage he did to his daughter phone and computer. He want me to lit the money on a greendot card and send 200 by Friday. I did not know she was 15 cuz her profile siad 25. Is tgis a scam or not? Pls sombody help me.

I am officially shitting bricks. Joined this site because the scam looks very similar to what's currently happening to me.

Long story short, but underage girl, supposedly from SC on vacation, I said I would meet as friends only, never engaged in sexual talk or send any naked pics. I paid half of the damage to the car on the wreck that supposedly happened and I thought that would be over, because the "father" ( they gave me two different numbers and the person who picked up on the different number sounds completely different ) told me that would be it. Surprise! I got another call again today for therapy ( on voicemail it was 5, on text it was 8 ). Asking me if I could pay half. I called a lawyer and told him the whole story. Long story short, lawyer said it all sounded very fishy and I should call them back to call them out on their BS. I reluctantly do it, but they didn't pick up. They later sent a text asking me to call them by tomorrow. I'm meeting face to face with my lawyer tomorrow, I have already deleted my okcupid profile and email associated with that account. I will get a new phone and new number tomorrow. I am scared shitless regardless.
