But please look at the whole market situation it is all gone crazy, currencies as wel as commodities.
And this what involved when you invest in this field sometimes you are up and some unfortunately down.
Now the big question is does they broke their contract with you.
:yikes:

On their web pages algorates.com and algo-capital.com and also on their fake news blogs :

http://financialnewscbs.blogspot.com/20 ... el-ii.html

https://algoratesblog.wordpress.com/201 ... algorates/

They claim news story's from the following sources . CBS News . International Business Times . Fox News . And the Wall Street Journal .

Quote from fake CBS News Story

"According to audited financial reports, since 2007, Algorates.com has earned more than 20% average annual returns for their clients."

A thorough google search of the internet for this shows nothing in the indexes to show that these stories, were ever done by these news agencies . A subsequent search of CBS News , Fox News and International Business Times websites, further confirms this fact . The only references to this story appear on their own pages and some FAKE NEWS AGENCY { SCAMMER NEWS AGENCY } sites .

Perhaps SCAMMER "Dany Kay " cares to comment on this since he had such a long successful business relationship with this Fraud Company . In other words Piss Off Scammer .

Hello, I have been trying to get evidence of the legitimacy of this company for a week or so now. I applied on their website to open an account, but became wary when the details to depoist funds was to a bank account in Hungary and decided that it was perhaps best avoided.

I then received a number of missed phone calls from a woman calling herself Brooke Ericson and claiming to be my account manager - she was clearly not British and not at all professional in the way she spoke. I then received the following email from her ([email protected])
Hi X,

You have registered on our website however, I have not been able to reach you.
Please let me know when you can conveniently speak on the phone.
I will be your account manager and will be very happy to assist you.
Looking forward to working with you,

http://www.algorates.com
Best Regards,
Brooke Ericson
Financial Advisor

As she is calling herself a Financial Advisor I asked her to confirm her registration details with the regulators and also those of AlgoRates. That was 7 days ago and despite 2 reminders (the second of which gave her 24 hour to reply or I would contact the regulators, she didn't have the courtesy to reply to me.

This morning I found this email in my spam folder from yesterday afternoon from someone claiming to be Lloyd Cooper Global Head of Compliance ([email protected])
Dear X,

Thank you for your recent inquiry.
It has been brought to my attention that you questioned one of our staff members as to the legitimacy of her position to act as a financial advisor.
I am curious to understand what brought you to that conclusion?

Have a great day,

Kind Regards,
Lloyd Cooper
Global Head of Compliance

I found it rather a defensive response to what was an innocuous question requesting someone's registration details. My response re-iterated my requirement and also restated my deadline for the details to be provided.

I won't be bothering to report it to the regulators as it is clear having read this blog that neither Brooke, AlgoRates or Lloyd (or whatever they are calling themselves today) are legitimate.

I am sorry for those of you that have lost your hard earned money to these scammers, and count myself very lucky not to have ended up in the same position.

Thank you for posting kws and I'm glad to hear that you were able to avoid being scammed by these lowlifes.

Interestingly, having just taken a look at their site, all mention of being based in the UK (and various other countries) has now disappeared from their website and they are claiming to be based in China
HEADQUARTERS ADDRESS
AlgoRates
Suite 807, Tower C2, Oriental Plaza
No. 1 East Chang An Avenue
Dong Cheng District
Beijing 100738 China
Looks like they ran out of excuses as to why they weren't registered with any of the required UK regulatory bodies.

ETA: and the associated site http://www.algo-capital.com/ seems to have disappeared and now just has a host's holding page.

From the fake website homepage
WELCOME TO ALGORATES
Our funds are currently closed for new investors.

If you want to join the waiting list or discuss special investment opportunities, please contact us at: [email protected] and one of our advisors will get in touch with you.

Thank you for your understanding.
I wouldn't bother contacting them, as their "advisors" are neither qualified or hold the relevant regulatory authorisation to help you.

There are a lot of these about. If they're located in Russia or China, it doesn't really matter what they promise as you'll never have any meaningful recourse against them and you'd have to wonder why they aren't marketing to their own countrymen first.

^^^I'll give cmstrader.com their own thread as they're claiming to have a UK presence, but no evidence of being registered with the UK regulators.
