Scammed by Igor Smirnov, Arctic Eage AS, Norway. Very professional at first contact, quick reply, product pictures etc. I made an order to the value of USD 10,600 and sent full payment upon receipt of their proforma invoice. Was given shipping date and just before the shipment received email from their shipping agent requesting €4830 for 100% Refundable Insurance Cover supposedly required by Norway authorities for first time buyers.
I checked with the relevant authorities and there is no such requirement. I was not informed of this requirement prior to ordering/payment. I did not pay as I realized I had been cheated. They will send emails asking for the additional payment and promise to refund after shipment arrive. Now shipment not sent and no refund. This is a scam where they want to cheat you twice. Everyone please be very aware. Check with the country's trade embassy before sending money!
