Thank you, this confirms that it is an Advance Fee Fraud scam. Legitimate people do not write to random strangers asking them to help them invest large sums of money, only scammers do that. The money does not exist, the scammer just wants to steal from you by charging you fees.
Just delete the emails and block the scammer. Do not accuse him of being a scammer, he will just deny it and carry on trying to scam you.
