I was sure that it had to be a scam because it was too good to be true (which is how I got here) but I can't figure out how it works. Can someone please explain to me how it scams you?

The scammers will have you send money to their personal bank account and/or wire money through Western Union or MoneyGram. Whatever she is trying to sell you doesn't exist. They will send a fake invoice pretending to be from eBay. If you received a fake invoice, please follow Michelle's directions above.
