This e-mail is associated with a new listing on AIRBNB. I contacted them re: renting and got this EXACT reply. I have contacted Customer Service at AirBNB to see if this is a verified property. I'm waiting to hear back. Do you know--for sure--this is a scammer? I really appreciate any info you can supply.
Thank you!

It is 100% definitely a scam, that is why Michelle has posted it here.

AirBnb do not deal with transactions outside of their own platform or hold payments in escrow.

THANK YOU!!! I do as much research as I can before I commit to anything, including searching out e-mail addresses. I am waiting to hear from AirBNB about this, too. I'm sure they are looking into it, since I brought it to their attention.
I appreciate this site greatly!
