Macfarlane Partners LLP was founded in the City of London in 1875 by George Watson Neish. He was joined in partnership by John Embleton Macfarlane in 1894. His sons and grandsons continued the tradition of the firm and in 1962 it adopted its current name Macfarlanes. We have never merged.
We have 87 partners and over 220 solicitors. Over half of our partners trained with the firm.
Our clients include some of the world's most successful and ambitious businesses and business leaders, from multinational companies to high-net-worth individuals.
