I am Alexandra Santos, widow of Portuguese origin residing today in France. I write you because of my state of health which continues to deteriorate day by day. I am one of those with whom nature has been generous. God, in his infinite goodness, has rewarded me throughout my little existence. Certainly I have neither family nor children; but I had a relatively happy life. I made up for this emptiness in my life by trying the best I can, to help the poor by bringing them only a moment of happiness.
