In future shall I trace the IP and add the real location as well, or is this not necessary?

No problem, we do make a not of we alter a post.

It is not required to post the location, though it can be helpful to other readers. The difference between claimed location and IP location is a strong indicator of a scam.

Note, some email providers do give the location of the IP accurately, so using the IP information from those providers is not accurate and can be misleading.
