Hello one and all

I was browsing ebay as you do and came across an advert for a laptop, price seemed a touch good to be true and in the advert the seller said :-

Please email me to continue with the sale...obvious warning signs right away.. ( dodgy bypassing ebay protections)

His feedback is odd..

This is the response I got when I emailed him:

You not pay to me you pay to Spectra Company by bank transfer. i receive the money from Spectra Company only after you have received and tested the product.
You have 2 years international warranty from factory to any product, also for any reason in 30 days you are not satisfied with the your product you can return back and you can ask a new product or full money back.

It's a scam. That is not how escrow works through eBay. They're using a fake VAT number and spectra-spedition.com is brand new and privately registered for 1 year only:

A fake UK shipping company with a Hungary headquarters address .

EBay seller Nolingam member since 2007 . That's a potential hacked EBay account . Email address on fake sales ads. [email protected] .

I knew I smelt a rat..

When something to good to be true.....

He never responded once to ebay messages, but somehow was able to open a unpaid item dispute...I bought it on ebay to see if it would make him react, and nothing.
