There are indeed legitimate loan companies, however, I am trying to find out if the following website and company are legitimate: http://www.priorityonefinancialgrp.com/ ... 751652.htm. My curiosity stems from a report filed regarding this company but I am not sure if it is the alleged company involved with advance fee loan scams or if it is in fact completely legitimate and coincidental.

Can anyone help? Thanks.

Looks very much like a fake site.

-Website was registered 3 weeks ago, and only for a year, yet the copyright on the website shows 1995.
-The website registration is Canada, yet the business claims to be in New Jersey, a bit strange.
-The actual address listed for the registrant is incomplete--the building is a 12 story building, yet the address is missing a unit number.
-Ditto for the supposed company address. 277 Fairfield Road has suites, which means the business should have a suite number.
-Notice there is no phone number on the site either, and yellowpages.com shows no business by that name in Fairfield, NJ.
-I couldn't check to see whether the application form, which is a joke itself (since when do you choose whether your own credit rating is good/fair/poor etc?) is secured, as I visited through a secure proxy, but I suspect it won't be.
-Uses a mail.com address, which is free, and not typical of an established business.

^^^^ Should really go in the fake banks forum.

BayViewTrustFinacial.com:

It's registered for one year (less than a fortnight ago), and appears to be a personal domain registration. There is one front page and none of the links go anywhere, except the one for applying for a loan.
