Hello for the past months I been chatting with this "soldier" he goes for the name of F/Sgt Chris Millian B. the whole story widow 1 child who is in London with a nanny and he is in Afghanistan.we start talking and by 3 or 4 weeks later he ask me if I can be the one who can ask for his Leave Approval at the time I didn't know and I say yes to him he send me the e-mail address where I have to ask for the permission i got an e-mail from someone named Robert Gonzalez he told me in the e-mail what I want and I reply to him so few e-mails and Leave Of Approval was granted then when I got the e-mail I got some documents the I have to scan and e-mail back to them the documents look real to me so I did it they send me another e-mail this one from Capt. Robert Friedman his e-mail address [email protected] they were asking for $2,350 plus $1,000 for BTA they got me like a fool I send the $ to some guy in Nigeria big mistake....2 or 3 days later I got the e-mail with his flight inf. so I was so happy because the "Men Of My Life" was coming. My God he never got here Puerto Rico around 6:30am March 19 I got an e-mail from "Capt Robert Friedman" saying that the fly was send back to Afghanistan and he couldn't make it.... I was so angry but they got me again few weeks later "Capt. Robert Friedman send me an e-mail asking this time for $5,000 for the flight and $3,000 for BTA I send the $ ones again April 5 I waited for 8hrs at the airport he never got here like 1hr later I got this horrible e-mail saying that the soldiers got attack and they were soldiers death but no names I went crazy for 2 days this "capt Robert Friedman was sending e-mails finally I got the e-mail they were 37 soldiers 7 death an 18 injure one of the injure was Chris this is being the most horrible days in my life in total $22,000 and I think I may have serve time in jail....Now at this point they got all my information from bank they stole $$$ from a member of my bank and they deposit that $$$ to my account this is the biggest SCAM ever I'm a disable woman no $$$ to defend myself....my family is devastated and I feel like killing myself for been a stupid and believe in this...... His messenger is [email protected] ONLY ME OH MY GOD!!!!!

I am so sorry that this has happened to you. It's obvious that you now know that this is a scammer, but if you haven't already, it is still best to cut off all contact with him. If you still have his emails, make sure you keep them in case they are needed in any cases over the stolen money. In the meantime, if you haven't closed or changed your bank account, it needs to be done, and you need to review any other information you gave him--if you have credit cards, make sure you change them if there's any chance he might have them, and make sure you change any passwords that there is a chance he might guess.

Check in your area to see if there is some kind of legal aid group or an organization that provides legal help to those without enough money to pay for it--in many areas, there are organizations to help.
