I am not sure if this is a scam, he seems legit, but unsure.
I don't have a website, but an email.

This is the email that he sent me.

Hi Deborah

No problem. Detail -

We are a film and television production house based in Vancouver. While in Calif. working on a project we connected with an investor through another producer. These guys are supporting us on 2 feature films at 75%. They asked me to act as their agent here in BC as they like the economy.

As the majority of loans are business loans, the lender does a credit check and a background check for lawsuits and judgments. In business money can be seized by those with court ordered judgments. If you have any concerns about your credit, please disclose them upfront. Most issues are not a problem. Regarding fees - there is a small legal fee plus closing costs and for the checks - and they place an insurance policy on the loan.

Let me know your need and I will provide a contract for review.

melanie56, I am not sure how you got in contact with this person.

This looks like a total scam. If you really need a loan, go to a lending institution where you can sit down with the lender and do it right.

This story sound plenty fishy and like they just want your information and an "application" fee. Then will be another fee and another. All payable by Western Union of course.

A website doesn't mean it isn't a scam. No website to me certainly means it IS a scam. Real lenders don't use free email providers.

I am concerned that even if you were able (by any small chance) to borrow money from this character, the interest rate would be sky high.
