Hello, my cousin would like to transfer her ticket as she can no longer participate in the race. If you're interested, contact her on WhatsApp at +44 7.4.5.6.01.9.9.2.1 and she'll transfer it to you immediately!

This attempted scam is one of many that regularly appear on the running social media site Strava. It is looking for people who would like to take part in an event, to make contact with a view to paying for the race entry (or 'bib') to be transferred to them. The scammer gets payment, then shuts down all contact with the victim.
