The following scam message was posted as a comment to posts in the Copenhagen Half Marathon and the Stockholm Marathon Strava groups:

hello, if you’re still interested, my sister is looking to transfer hers because we can’t travel for the race anymore, here is her whats@pp, you can text her and she’ll transfer to you! +1.5.48.600.2.3.6.9

This attempted scam is one of many that regularly appear on the running social media site Strava. It is looking for people who would like to take part in an event, to make contact with a view to paying for the race entry (or 'bib') to be transferred to them. The scammer gets payment, then shuts down all contact with the victim.
