I was on this site a few years ago and then my pc let me down so have only just got back on line so to speak i have also joined a few dating sites have had a few emails and messages but one that i got just stuck out from the rest and i was wondering if anyone had heard of this guy he uses this email address [email protected] the following is the email he sent me and i remember from beforethat a few of the lines in this one were the same as the ones from other scammers but i just want to make sure like anyone else, thanks for helping out much apprecaited this is the email :-

I'am of the opinion that true love still exist and am pretty much optimistic that together with someone special, we can have a happy family in a blissful atmosphere. Am done with headgames, "the get in and get out thing" and am sure you know just everything about that.

I have been through some rough times in life but always stayed positive,picked the pieces and rebuild again. I mean,We can not let situaions change us, My loss and misfortunes have not made me an angry or bitter person nor do I blame the world for my issues. I make sure I learn something from every alley of life and this has made me who I am today.

The writing is 100% African English, and the scenario is bog-standard scammer. Odds are over 95% that he is a scammer.

If he is claiming to be from Europe, North America, or South America, then you can change those odds to 100%

The best you can do is stop all contact now. Don't answer his emails, block him from chat, and please don't confront him. Scammers are not stopped by reproaches, instead

1) they will realise that you possibly posted a warning somewhere. So they will delete their compromised account - and all the useful details published here will be worthless.

2) they will create a new account with fresh details which aren't published anywhere, so future victims' Google searches will get no hits on scam warning sites and the victims will feel safe to proceed with their "relationship".

I hope he didn't do any emotional damage. Please come back any time you need help.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, his profile is 'new' on megafriends.com and he put his location down as Australia, thankfully this was the first email I got from him so i have not invested any time or emtions on him so i can block him and inform megafriends that he is a possible scammer and they can deal with him accordingly. Again thankyou and i will keep an eye out

a little extra info he goes by the nickname 'lovseeker4lif' and this is what he has written about himself and what he is looking for also he work in Oil/Gas, and says his birthday is Nov 18 1961 hope this info may help in some way

Very sorry to dredge this one up from so far back in the archive...but I have opening contact with this mugu right now, using this script.

The problem is it's a refined version, many of the spelling and grammar mistakes have been corrected, it was a little more difficult to find archived versions of it.

I was wondering if anyone had any additional contact beyond the opening script? I'm looking for other emails that were used, parts of the script farther down the road. Was a location ever established? So far all I have is a nearly identical gmail addy. What is he going to be asking me to send and what "crisis" will I have to save him from?

Based on what I've seen so far he IS reading my emails to him and adapting his language...I always knew my expectionally poor gammar would come in handy someday.

I will post as much as of the script as I can uncover, and any email addys I can get along the way, never hurts to have the new version get indexed too.
