I recently got a job offer for an administrative assistant with DVJ Trading Company. My phone managers name is Peter Lindstrom. I was very wary of the job that I was supposed to do. The website is dvjtradingcompany.com. I researched the domain name and this is what I got.

You were wise to be suspicious.
The company is only registered for the 12 months which is a ploy scammers use to good effect.
I'm directing your attention to http://kcbbb.blogspot.com/2011/08/scams ... -2011.html whereby the said company can be viewed in an unsavoury light.

What that means i s that the domain has only existed for 3 weeks, and the domain was only registered for a year--typical of a a fake site supporting a job scam.

The phone number on the registration has too many digits--in other words, it is bogus.

Checking some text off the website: "collaborative approach to everything we do by listening closely to understand what you need to be successful."
shows it is copied from a legitimate website: http://www.pershing.com/assets/brochure ... 11733.html

We would need to see the actual info on the "job" to confirm absolutely, but there is a very high probability of a scam.
