No worries. They were hoping to get your cash by offering you a (fake) job, then telling you that you had to send money for visa, work permit, etc.

The scammers may target you with a few more specific scams, so you will have to be even more careful about future messages. Other than that, there's nothing to be concerned about.

Just cut off all contact with the scammers. Block their email, and ignore anything in the future.

And, in case they try to threaten you (as some scammers do), if you have signed anything, you have NOT signed a legally binding contract. It's automatically void when the information on it is fake.

The offer is a scam and is not from the real company that does exist and has a website here

They are legitimate and respectable, The offer is from an imposter and fraudster who wants to steal money from you by getting you to deposit counterfeit cheques in your bank account.

Note that the e-mail is not from the official company domain. No company would give you a job based on an online internet interview. Strange too that the company hasn't even mentioned what their line of work is.

A company whose work consists of communication would never issue an e-mail with a phrase like this.

It suggests that whoever wrote it is not based in the UK at all. If you have any doubt, ring the company using the phone number on the official website I quote, and they'll confirm it to be a scam.

As you undoubtedly realise this is another job scam.

All they're interested in is the fake fees they're going to make you pay up front and it's only after you've paid them the cash that you'll realise that there's no job.

They quote the real website www.costa.co.uk but their e-mails are coming from a different fake domain they've set up themselves @costacofee.co.uk. If it were coming from the real company it would be the same as the website @costa.co.uk.

They'll want you to pay fees to the account of a private individual or to a person by MoneyGram or Western Union. A real company would NEVER ask you to make payment to anywhere other than a bank account in their company name - NEVER EVER.
