Hello! I am in the process of inquiring for vacation rentals from this person using this email is requiring cash transfers instead of credit card payments. May I know your experience with coolmaxxyhome? Thank you!

Mike is a scamwarner who has listed the site here because it is fraudulent. The phone number he posted is a redirect phone number, used by scammers who are pretending to be in UK when they are not.

In other words, the website was created solely for the purpose of helping scammers to steal your money.
This type of scammer collects money for property he does not have.

Do not send any money. If you do, you will lose your money and have no rental.

Welcome to ScamWarners rsiasoyco. To add to Dotti's great information, I wanted to say your instincts are GREAT. Scammers want you to send money by a money transfer system instead of using a credit card because there is no way to contest the money sent. No way to reverse the transaction once the scammer has picked up the money.

We advise people to not use a money transfer service, like Western Union or Money Gram to send money to anyone you have net met in person. Scammers use this medium because the cash is theirs as soon as you send it. A legitimate vender will accept credit cards and have a way for you to contest or reverse the transaction. Feel free to ask questions as you have them.

Thank you so much, Mike, Dotti and Bubbles for the valuable information! In my short search for some rentals in Europe, I seem to have managed to bump into a number of these unscrupulous individuals who try to convince people to use money transfers instead of credit cards. I may have to post some of their emails and websites to warn other unsuspecting netizens. May you all be blessed!
