The following email was received in response to a listing on an Au Pair website. This is a scam, no vacancy exists - the scammer will try and scam you out of money by asking for fees for travel costs or accomodation costs.

I understand that you seek vacancy for aupair/nanny, I am sorry to
contact you in this manner cos time and work won't permit me do so in an
appropriate way. My name is Matthew Scott, 40 years single parent
with two kids,James and john (4&6)years

I am Sailor Based in the UK (England). I need someone who would look
after my kids at home when I am at work. This is because my younger
sister has gained admission in Cambribge University here Uk and has resumed
school. I need someone to take over from her at my absence.

I need a fun loving, reliable, friendly, experienced person and also
can nurture my kids with care. For someone with experience and good
qualities, I will set up good offer for to take care of my Two kids
for me very well.

And i believe that you can take care of my kids for me and also i am
ready to give
weekly allowanceof 50 Pounds and a Monthly Salary Of 3000 Pounds you can tell

Sometimes the kids cousins come to visit.. do you mind having to
mind extra children occasionally?

How many children would you feel comfortable with?
Can you help with shopping?

How would you discipline a child?


As for how long you can work for my family, well i think that depend on how long you will like to work here with me but left for me, I do not intend to see you off in the next 2-3 years cause I really would need your services. Attached is my family pictures. I will be very grateful if you respond better to me..... You have nothing to worry about you will be treated like one of the family and you will have 5 days to work in a week and 2 days as your off day that is Saturdays and Sundays. You will have the opportunity to do what ever you want to for you own good on weekends...

I already discussed about you with he kids, they seem to like you despite the fact that they are yet to see you. Well hope to hear from you soonest.
