This scammer claims to be a US Serviceman by the name of Calvin Miller serving in Afghanistan. He uses the email address [email protected] and the Skype ID calvin.miller6060 and the telephone number +233 247448617.

He claims to have an adopted son Alex, who uses the email address [email protected]

He has his victims send money to Accra Ghana in the name of Nnadi R Wisdom.

He sends out a large number of photos of "himself" (many of which have been used by other scammers) and his "adopted son".

The scammer also uses a fake diplomatic courier delivering a consignment as part of his scam to steal money from his victims.

The "courier" uses the name Ahemed Abdelhamed and the email address [email protected].

Please Madam, the immigration at the airport requires me to obtain Yellow Tag, so i was ask to paid for it before getting into the flight for safe delivery of the parcel and the yellow tag will cost the sum of one thousand Great British Pounds (£1,000) before the parcel can be allowed into the flight and I please ask that you help send this money to me here in London so I can be able to obtain a yellow tag and take my flight as schedule tomorrow. failure to obtain a Yellow Tag will permit the immigration to scam the briefcase, and your husband gave a warning that the briefcase should not be scanned..

Hi,

A Calvin Miller who states he is a General has contacted me. He uses the email address: clavinmiller@[email protected] and yahoo messenger.

His profile is on Be Social and he is using some of the pictures from [email protected], in addition he has a facebook account, I did a search on him.

I see that he is probably a scammer.

No probably about it--he is a definite scammer.

The person in those photos is NOT a General. Even if we ignore the fact that he is too young, his uniform tells us that he is not one.

Just an update. Calvin Miller is using a new email [email protected].

His english is pretty bad so it was easy to find it strange. Now he is 57 with a young son, his wife died during childbirth. His parents are both dead as well. He is persistent that is for sure, and that is his downfall. Too persistent.

He is also on skype as General.Calvin Miller 1970.

I received a LinkedIn's invitation with this picture. When I accepted, he wrote me this:
"Hi, how are you doing?? How is the situation of things over there regards to the economic standard and security?lets speak more on my personal address because i have a business proposal for you... [email protected] ...i await your response over there."
I google the pic and it came out your blog posting about this picture, I blocked and reported the profile.
I just want to let it you know for possible future scams with this email.

Scammers never approach only one person, so there is a good chance your warning will help someone who is not quite sure if it's a scam or not.
