NEW Apartment SCAM NAME from Copenhagen

Hi everyone,

I was searching for a room in Copenhagen, when I saw this ad on craigslist:

http://copenhagen.da.craigslist.dk/roo/3148995537.html (notice: a price like that for a rent in the city center of copenhagen is ridiculous)

I sent him an email to know more about the room/apartment, and this was his reply:

OK Thanks for your response to my aprtment,it available as for now on you will be living in my apartment without sharing it with anybody i am so sorry i will not be available in Copenhagen for now as i am presently in uk working but all you need to do is to go straight to the address i sent you and view the apartment but i want you to have it in mind that you will not have full access into the apartment as it is locked and i am here with the keys. Thats why i sent you those pictures so that you can see how the apartment looks like.

I wrote him again, and this was his reply:

I tried to search his phone number on the internet and the first line that came out on google was a post wrote on this website about an aparment scam from Geneva. The telephone numbers were exactly the same.

The telephone number is a redirect number which makes it look like the receiver is in the UK, but actually they can be any place in the world. It is a trick used by scammers to fool potential victims. It was wise of you to check the phone number.
