This is a scam I picked up on Craigslist, for an apartment supposedly on Draycott Street in Chelsea. I was immediately suspicious since although there is a Draycott Ave and a Draycott Place in Chelsea, there is no Draycott Street. The scammer also used different spelling of the street each time!
It is clear that the scammer, who signed as "Mr. Curtis" in my case, is scamming with more than one flat, since there was a post on this forum about another property. The email I received is below:
Subject: £400 / 1br - ACCOMODATING ONE BEDROOM FLAT (DRAY COTT CHELSEA)
Scammer used the following photos, which are not real:
These photos all seem to have been taken from an advert for a flat in Barcelona!
