I received a similar e-mail scam from
[email protected]. I have copied this in order to record his activities and alert others to his activities.

have been deducted from my PayPal Account,so i think you must have gotten the Payment
Notification from PayPal in your Email..please check and get back to me.
I will want you to get the item posted Via First Class Recorded Mail and send the
shipment details to PayPal for verification,

The FAKE Paypal e-mail I received is shown below

Thank you for using PayPal. We are sending you this email to let you know that we have received funds of an amount of £130.00 GBP from the buyer Dole Dota for the auction item and it will still be pending and can only be posted into your account,once you provide us with some necessary information to complete the payment.Your PayPal ID and the Tracking Number Of Shipment from the post office are all needed.This is not a request by the buyer but a new policy to safeguard fraudulent transactions going on at the moment.This message is just to let you know your Account will be credit.
Once you have got the item shipped through the buyer's requested shipping option,forward the tracking number to our security customer care email at
[email protected] and also the remaining information and we will go about crediting your account within the next 24 hours.
