Hi E. Are they communicating by email or instant chat? If you could check one of the email headers, the IP number should show the origin of said email. If they are only instant chatting, make an excuse for her to send an email. If he's sending money after she asked, it's a scam. Any funds sent via wu/ mg will be gone forever with no chance of recovery. Sad to say the betty williams name is well known in scamland. If the girl is from Dover UK, has he not found it strange sending money to west africa? Is there any other info like phone number ect?

The top photo is labelled "ODNOKLASSNIKI.RU" in cyrillic, a popular Russian website.
The site has been online for at least eight years. Compared with internet averages, Odnoklassniki.ru's users tend to be under the age of 35, and they tend to be men earning less than $30,000 who have postgraduate educations and browse from home. The site is particularly popular among users in Kyrgyzstan (where it is ranked #4) and Armenia (#5).
It's difficult to know where the scam is run from without headers. It is 2 different people in the photos. The one at the bottom shows someone wearing a wedding ring. They have them on the right hand in Russia. I think it's a Russian scammer.

They're just communicating through facebook. No emails have been sent that I'm aware of. I went on the laptop after he went to bed and blocked/reported "her." Thank you for translating the Cyrillic on the bottom. I did see the Betty Williams name pop up on another scammer search.

254731630257 is the phone number. It is a cell phone (now disconnected) w/ the carrier Airtel. She told him it's a landline but she can't speak with him cuz the place she's in has bad reception during storms.

I managed to copy their chat logs going back to Dec 9th. It started on November 27th.

Apparently the number is reactivated. He just got off the phone with "betty williams." Last time I tried calling the number it said it was disconnected, now it's working again.

The bottom pic is an English hotel something like The Pxxx Hotel on the Menu. They sell Adnams bitter. I tried a couple of Pier Hotels with no proper result, it's not Eastbourne and Harwich is doubtful. You could play with Penn or Pier. There is nothing helpul on the Adnams website. The resolution is not good enough for me to enlarge without noise. You might be able to look at it better because a .jpg loses quality each time it is saved. Also look at the wall plaque by the girls head. You may do better with what you have.

This ones partially pops up on a russian travel blog.

I have about 4 more, none have any exif data and nothing pops up on google images or tineye. His CenturyLink webmail isn't giving me an option to view full headers.

I already tried viewing the plaque in the bar, the image is too low of a resolution to make it out.

Wow, so she has created multiple FB pages. http://www.facebook.com/people/Betty-Wi ... 4742141659

http://whois.domaintools.com/197.178.64.17

The kenyan address found in the headers. I doubt the ISP will do a damn thing.

He told me earlier he sent about $1,600 in cash and gifts (camera, ipad, etc.)

The last one is the phone number for which her father was calling (and I've called a few times to yell at it) his supposed Betty Williams
