I believe I have been contacted by at least two scammers. They appear to have posted the same picture as their online id on Skype. Unfortunately the pictures are not clear. I am a recent widow of a man who served his country for >30 years. Since his death, I have been contacted by many who served with him to offer support. I believed these men were possible such persons. In our initial exchanges it became clear that neither man knew my husband or that i was a widow. Based on my assumption, I had already revealed some information. I threw in some military lingo to which there was no response. No military jargon in the exchanges. Marriage brought up in both cases. One exchange suggested that I needed to move on after only 6 months following a sudden death. Gen. Mark Wills with the Skype name mark.wills39 told me this was his work Skype name. Hubby never had an official Skype name nor do any of my neighbors. First mistake. His personal Skype name generalmarkwills had a picture suspiciously similar to another recent contact. I found this other contact on your board; frank.william with the Skype name frank.william237. Yahoo id [email protected]. He states he is a Brigadier General. He states he is in Afganistan. Mark Wills stated he is in Pakistan. IF anyone else knows of these ids and has information let me know. If indeed a scam, to whom should I pass the information?

is no general and the photo is a photoshop job. The head is a well known picture used by scammers, and the head is too big for the body. The body is Sgt Major of the Army Kenneth Preston. I won't educate scammer and star the other big mistake.
