Please post the emails you got so that we can include them in future reports.

You are probably going to get a check or a bank transfer. If it's a check, just ignore it, tear it up, or take it to the police. If it's a bank transfer, print out all emails related to this fake job, with full headers, and show them to the fraud department of your bank. Do not withdraw any money until the bank has sent the money back where it came from.

Say nothing to the scammers. Do not tell them that you quit the job or that you found out it's a scam. They will yell at you for stealing their money. Ignore them; they're criminals and will not send the police after you.

Thank you for the advise! I will definitely be doing that! I feel so stupid. Can I ask how you know this is a fake company. Because now that I know it's a scam, I just don't get why they are 'hiring' people and paying money into their accounts. Also, I have quite a few correspondences via email, I will copy in the confirmation email etc for future posts as requested

This gang has been operating since 2009, Bob Bear has a record of at least one of their sites from 2010, I've been tracking them since May 2012 or earlier, and HD has been tracking them for over a year. We know their sites at sight or in a whois or host -t ns lookup, even when they pretend to be art dealers. They get others to send money to the mules, or hijack bank accounts and transfer money into the mules' accounts, or something like that, and tell the mules to send money to the scammers.

Hello

I received an email from Damon Sykes ([email protected]) and requested I email him back on [email protected], but luckily I did some research but now finding out its a scam I'm not going to respond, hopefully he won't chase me. I do have corresponding emails which I found flaws in as he stated i'll only be working 2 hours a day and firstly stating he's an Recruitment Adviser and his second email he is a Recruitment Coordinator, so he's not very smart!

He left some contact details which are:

Damon Sykes
HR Coordinator
FINANCEHEADS LTD
Phone: 0118 328 3383
Fax: 087 2352 8022
e-mail: [email protected]

I hope this information helps!
