All communication was done via email and then I made a bank transfer.
It was all very last minute for us so although we had some reservations we went ahead anyway.
The person called themselves Natalie.

I am on an iPad, not sure how to do this.
Any ideas??
I might be able to get access to a PC tonight if that helps.

Thanks for your help. Feeling very angry.
I have also contacted action fraud and have a crn.

If you can do it tonight, that's fine. It will also help any other victims who are searching for phrases in the emails.

Just checked and the site has been taken down, so thank you for any assistance that you had in this.

Money still gone and banks refusing to help as I paid through online banking using debit card. The recipient bank refused to help even though I suggested it was criminal activity.
Looking at action fraud it it seems unlikely that they will attempt to get my money back. It was nearly £1000
Does anyone have a good way of achieving getting my money back other than hoping fraud stop take it further..?
With kind regards and fingers crossed.

Paul

You're welcome! Someone posted an email from the fake site somewhere else on Scamwarners.

To what bank account did you send the money? You can PM it to a mod; they have ways of reporting fraudulent bank accounts that often get them shut down.
