In the process of being reported for fraud
  by Zac Cleaves

Hi guys,
I am the owner and operator of the legitimate small business, Sky-Edge IT Solutions. I run a one-man consultation and boutique web hosting shop operating out of Southern Maine. I was made aware of these guys a few weeks back and not entirely sure what, if anything, I should do about it.
I am at complete loss as to what anyone would possibly have to gain by copying my name, pretending to be me, or whatever it is they were doing. The vast majority of my business comes to me though word of mouth and local advertising. They never tried to contact me or any of clients, nor have there been any attempts to open bank accounts in my either mine or my companies name.

Pretty strange. The one thing that really annoys me is that m companies name is now associated with great words like scam alert, fraud detection, in fact,,,,this thread shows up as Google''s top result when you Google my companies name. Very frustrating.

Any thoughts?

They are not interested in stealing from you or your clients - they are trying to fool unsuspecting victims into thinking that they are a legitimate business by using your company name and tricking them into laundering money for them.

The best thing you can do is dd a warning to your website, alerting anyone that is targeted and finds your site, of the scam
