So this guy who was "interested" in an item I had for auction, with the eBay username: pa-cal2 sends me an eBay private message saying:

"Dear [*removed for privacy*],
How much are you selling for the least price for me kindly get back to me
soon.Thank you

-pa-cal2"

I kindly replied back with how much I had in mind and he then replies with:

"Dear [*removed for privacy*],

I'm okay with the price give me your PayPal name and email i can make the
Payment directly now kindly text me (224) 419-5506

-pa-cal2"

So because I have had success with these situations before I went ahead and ended the auction and texted him with info on how to send me the payment. Our conversation goes something like... I tell him my email and to send it as "I'm paying for goods or service" and he replies with:

"I want to make the payment now hope i can receive it on Monday morning?"
"Here is my address and my name
TOMAS CALF
8260 NW1TH ST APT5429
DORAL, FL 33126

let me know the total price"

I let him know the total and that it will be more expensive but he seemed to ignore everything I said and just said to invoice him at this email address: [email protected]
He told me that he was busy with family and he will pay in a bit. So late at night he says to "check your email for the payment confirmation message"
and thats when I was thinking to myself "email? I have to log into paypal and check" i knew something was fishy. So he sends me an email like the one you will see at the bottom of this post.

I texted him to tell him I will be posting the item back on eBay because I did not recieve the money just to see what he would say and he replied:

"OMG check in your inbox i made the payment today because PayPal have detucted my money"

and I never messaged him back.
So watch out for fake paypal emails, I even called paypal to make sure. Watch out for:
