Husband caught up in Romance Scam.

Hi,
I don't know how to convince my husband (estranged) that the money he has been sending someone for the past year is a scam. All signs point that this is what is going on. She contacted him via facebook and withing just a few emails professed love for him. Told him she lived in Illinois. When he mentioned moving her out to PA she said she had left for Nigeria to visit her father. She then told him she does not have money to come home on and is waiting for her father to help her. Meantime he is sending her money.
Her facebook only has him as a friend and she is 23 years younger than him. She says she left her son with her mother while she is in Nigeria. No sign of a son mentioned or pic. I have not found her listed as living anywhere. I do not have an email, only a name, pic, and location of where she is suppossed to live. Can anyone give me any advice on convincing him that this person is not for real?

One quick google search and it's already 100% clear.

The photo the scammer is using is one of porn chick Adrienne Manning.

I can send you a link to a gallery of photos that includes the one the scammer stole for the facebook page, or you can google yourself and google should take you to the same place.

We prefer not to link to porn sites here but there is absolutely no doubt as to the photo.

Thank you for your help! He is so caught up in this girl that I can only hope he believes what I will show him. I know he is going to be devestated, but better for him to see the truth than to continue to be taken in by this. He has already sent over a thousand at least to this person.
I did also find out something else. The money is being sent through Walmart to a Sequin Ibrahim in Nigeria. Any information on him would also be helpful and much appreciated.

Dream knot, let me help if I can. Hopefully you have been able to show your ex the links to the pictures. I will tell you it is hard when someone points out you are being scammed. It is a shock- you have already envisioned a new life with this person and have fallen for the words and attention this liar has provided. It is hard to let go of that, even when you understand. Please know that even if he listens, he will miss all that and can be drawn back to her to hear more lies. If he is willing to come here and see the numerous stories of all of us who have been scammed, please point him to this page. Thank you for helping him. It is hard but he will learn from this.

He says the links are not proof. Anyone can make a page. I cannot show him this forum because he is telling her everything and we are told not to let the scammers know.

PM sent. It is hard when the person remains in contact. The scammer will tell him anything to keep him involved. It won't stop until he is out of money and totally devastated. We are seeing lots of action on Facebook. It is a vast playground for scammers today.

I sent you a private message with the specific photo from the FB page.

You also might want to google "Sweet Adri" which is the other name used by the porn model in the photos. You will find literally thousands of photos.

You can also google her name and "Penthouse" as she actually modeled for penthouse magazine. Maybe seeing her information in a major porn magazine will help him to understand which is the real information.

Ok, Showed husband and he is now angry and in denial, which is to be expected. Keeps asking me to tell him where I got the information, but of course am not telling him. He will only run to "April" and tell her. He has asked her questions and so far all he tells me is that she says hi. He has made it clear that he does not want me to show him anymore on this subject.
I am finding more and more as I look into this. More links for anyone who is interested or knows someone who has been contacted by this person.
