Note that you won't find too many exotic palm trees like the one in the background growing north of Watford. Not impossible, but unlikely. Problem solved - the vehicle and the palm tree have moved further south

thanks for posting this SCAM, I am the owner of this vehicle and Company - Trident Vehicle Sales Ltd Tel 01255 863051 based at 60 London Road, Little Clacton, Essex. CO16 9RB and having just seen this ad we will be acting accordingly to get this bogus ad removed. We would always recommend that buyers view the vehicle in person before handing any money over and always ask yourself is it too good to be true? We are inundated on a daily basis by texts and emails trying to access personal data to hack into our systems and as vigilant as we try to be, someone somewhere will outwit us, as in this case. This vehicle is for sale and can be viewed by appointment only at our branch in Little Clacton. We hope that no-one has been caught out by this or any other bogus ad and urge everyone to be on their guard as these crooks become even more inventive at extracting hard earned money from innocent people.

Of course not only are the buying public the intended victims of these criminals but dealers and sellers whose vehicle pictures they steal and use to try and take away their potential buyers are also affected. It's a massive problem and I would mention that Autotrader UK have been stepping up their counter fraud activities against these people recently but they are not alone in being used by these fraudsters, indeed this is a large criminal organisation that abuses ad sites worldwide.

One point is that if these criminals didn't have bank accounts that they use to launder stolen money, this fraud would barely exist. The fraud isn't good for anyone. Buyer's money is going into the pockets of criminals and not honest sellers and dealers and it puts the public off buying online.

I regret that is has affected you, but it affects many hundreds of people every day I'm sorry to say.
