****FAKE SSGT THOMAS MILER/MILLER - [email protected] - KABUL AFGHANISTAN IS A FAKE.*****

Hello,
I'm one of many women who utilizes a popular dating site. While on Match.com I was contacted by the above so- called -person and after exchanging several emails, he informed that he was in the military and serving his 2nd deployment in Afghanistan and that he was due to retire in January 2015 after 20 years of service. We had chatted here and there for about a week. Naturally suspicious, I started to question several things that just didn't seem to add up. The biggest flag was that he actually wrote with the fluidity of a 5 year old. I had questioned his identity and he came back with a little validity. Still suspicious, I provided him with my phone number. He called me shortly thereafter and the caller ID number was out of Florida... Didn't get to talk as the connection was bad. Called me again using another caller ID number in the Los Angeles area. To make a long story short, we spoke and it was a complete joke. You could tell that the guy was probably from Africa or Nigeria. And along with his broken english, spoke as though he was mentally challenged. It was the strangest thing. I began to do a little research and found your website, and it touched on everything that I found questionable. Although he didn't ask me for money point blank, he did reference children who ran the streets, orphaned by the casualty of war, and I could help out in some small way to make life better for them. But I refused... Ladies, question everything and then question it again. Do your homework.. And NEVER send money to anyone... If they appear to good to be true - they probably are.. Anyone know popular websites where I can post his picture? I would really like for find out the real identity of this person. I just hope that he's not a fallen U.S. Fallen Hero, who's grave site hurls our American flag..

With tears!

PM sent on how to post pictures.

Also please post a couple of his initial emails, phone numbers and messages sent to you. Remove anything that may identify you. This will also help other women avoid him if they search for the information.

Last paragraph of first email sent to me when I questioning his true identity - almost had me convinced:

I'm a platoon leader of 50 soldiers here and i am a part of the military police squad too. My work is to take care of the paper works and radioing other units about any new development concerning our mission here in Afghanistan. I'm the first person to set leg at the war field whenever we're flown to another war-field to control whatever activities going on there. I'm also the last to take off when mission is carried out without any ill-contingencies. My platoon also takes care of the C6 machine-guns which I'm to account for whenever our distributions is made to the soldiers in my platoon. I am an E-6 Staff Sergeant (SSG).I also act as a platoon sergeant in the absence of the Sergeant First Class. I've been in Afghanistan for the past 18months now and when i come back home i will be retiring . i will be home in a few weeks.I fought in the Gulf war in 1990 to 1991 which was my first mission. The gulf war was fought to liberate Kuwait from autocratic rule of the late Saddam and My 2nd mission to Afghanistan was in 2003 which ended in 2005..This is my last mission to get retired in the Military so you know I have a pretty bad experience..

I think I will write you the whole world if I have all the time to write you..ha ha..I think may be somethings will be told when we are together in person

This phone number 941-613-9057 was used here for this scam.
http://www.419scam.org/emails/2013-06/21/00417928.1.htm

213-640-7357 Appears to be Voip. Which mean it is an internet based telephone that can be answered anywhere in the world.

The writing that you post is from West African male.

Clearly the scammer does not know how an APO works.

***Please stop all communication with the scammer. Do not tell him that he is posted here and do not confront him. Eventually he will go away. If confronted he will only continue to lie. He is a criminal living in West Africa that wants to steal your money.

Talking about who I am...I am that easy going type, adventurous, romantic, ambitious and have a very good sense of humor... My hobbies are too many but to mentioned a few; sports, watching movies, going for walks, listening to music (almost all types of music), love on the beach, dancing in the dark...I am very outgoing, and I love most activities outdoors. I am cute, and I would also like to say, I am Single as you already know,I am somewhat conservative, but am adventurous and love doing things from relax, listen to wide-range of music, watch good films, to taking walks along the beach or curling up in front of a fire with that special someone. I'm a down to earth real open-minded,I don't hide my feelings when it comes to the matters of the heart..My favorite movies are romantic movies, eating habits: just about anything. I don't have any kids as you already know, I don't smoke or drink alcohol... am always smiling and don't easily get irritated, I don't even remember the last time I frowned.I always make sure to share the little that I have with someone and also satisfied with whatever I have.

In working with people,I am compassionate, gentle and fun loving. I can also be direct when I need to understand something more or if I need someone's assistance. I'm more on the quiet side, more introverted than extroverted, but not necessarily shy. I'm very open-minded about things that improve the quality of life for all...And also I am friendly and view my role in the world to be someone to stand before others and show them how truly wonderful they are. I am a free-thinker. I try to be "open at the top" being willing to learn the lessons as my spirit grows through life experiences. We are all unique and have different likes and dislikes. But we can come to a common ground and accept each other for who "we" are. Relationships are hard but with God in the center they can survive. We have to give 100% it isn't just 50/50 as they say. I've learned not to go bed angry, but to talk things out and work through whatever conflicts may come. In my weakness she can be my strength, in her weakness I can be her strength. Where I lack she can make up for it and where she lacks I can make up for it. We come together in a perfect fit like a glove...Cheating and lying is the only thing to put me off and as I said I prefer to know and say the truth even if it hurts and except that I love everything in this life
