I've just was, almost, victim of a new scam that I didn't know about.
I had some items in an online shopping website to sell. I was contacted by an individual from Nigeria that agreed with the value I was asking.
To make the deal, he made a supposely transfer from the RBC Royal Bank. The problem was that I would only receive the payment AFTER shipping the item, and providing a shipment tracking number.
The confirmation email isn't legit - even if it seems so.
I found a case where a girl sent a Sony Camera, and never received the money - also with the RBC bank.
The scam is very well done, I must say. It all seems legit, professional and the english language is perfect.
You don't loose money - you loose the item.
Be aware, my friends. Report such scam, with the detailed email of the suposed Bank, to [email protected].
